Usually when I get fan letters for THE SEER books, it’s a fan asking about the next book or wanting to see more romance between Sabine and Dominic. But recently I had a very unusual fan letter…one which gave ms shivers and a sense of hearing from the Other Side.

Here’s part of the letter which explained how my book, DON’T DIE DRAGONFLY, became a message from a ghost:

Dear LJS,

Soon after (my 20 year old daughter’s death) we experienced many paranormal phenomena…always accompanied by her little messenger:  A blue dragonfly. . 

This last January, I was arguing with my youngest son about his poor scores in French at school, After few minutes arguing with him I decided to let go and I isolated myself in the bathroom where I started to pray my daughter Marie for help.  “Please Marie, you were so good at school and so much interested in reading, please help your little brother.  Give him something to encourage him to read and have better grades in his French course”.

A week later, my son came back from school all excited to tell me that he had won something at school for the first time of is life!  He had won a book in is French course!  He took the book out of his school bag to show me.  When I saw the dragonfly on the top cover of your book (DON’T DIE DRAGFONFLY), I nearly fainted,

Once again we had an answer accompanied by her little messenger. When I read the back cover, it became even more clear that it was a sign from Marie since it says: “And you the girl with a dragonfly tattoo, don’t die!  I have to tell you that Marie had a dragonfly tattoo!  Furthermore, the girl in your book tries to kill herself the day that her boyfriend brakes up with her.  Marie died in that car accident the same night that her boyfriend broke up!!!!!!!  On top of it all I realised that you also wrote a book entitled:  “My sister the ghost”  and that is exactly what Marie is now for her little brother, his sister the ghost had sent him a gift to help him.  A gift with her signature… the dragonfly….

I love thinking that my DON’T DIE DRAGONFLY was used as a messenger from the Other Side. I love being an author.
